The Bearcats of Huntingdon visited the Bellefonte Red Raiders today. The Bearcats put 3 runners on the bases with 3 walks but all 3 were left by the 3rd out. The case was not the same with the Raiders. Seth Tressler started the Raiders off with a solo home run over the right field fence. Next up was Josh Wensel who received his first of 2 hit by pitches. Wensel''s courtesy runner worked his way around the bases after a couple singles. The 2nd inning went by with little fan fare and the top of the 3rd was much of the same. Frank Parkes added 1 more run with a solo home run over right center field.Down 3 to 0 the Bearcats need to put some runs on the board and they managed to do so, scoring 1 run with an RBI single from Minor. The Raiders didn''t back down and scored 2 more runs of their own on 2 hits in the bottom of the inning. Each Team added another run in the 5th and the Bearcats added 1 more in the 6th but they fell short. The Raiders held on for the 6 - 3 win over the Bearcats.
