Phillipsburg-Osceola had a tough time on the road against county rival Bellefonte on April 8th 2009.

The Phillipsburg-Osceola Mounties couldn't match bats with the Bellefonte Red Raiders. The Mounties left 3 runners stranded to open the 1st while the Raiders put up 4 in the bottom of the inning. Matt Fisher got his first of 4 RBIs and his 1st of 2 doubles in the inning. The Mounties did get on the board in the second with a single run but the Raiders matched them plus 1 more in the bottom. Brandon Myers of the Mounties added 2 with a 2 run homer in the 3rd, but that would be the last of the scoring for the Mounties. Not to be outdone in the home run department Fisher smacked a 3 run home run. The Raiders added 3 more run in the 4th to push them into the 10 run rule win when the Mounties failed to get a hit in the top of the 5th. The Red Raiders win 14 to 3 over the Mounties
