The Bald Eagles win a close one on the road versus the Lady Raiders of Bellefonte on April 17,2009.

The Lady Eagles battled it out in pitcher's duel between Megan Shaw of the Eagles and Emily Dauberman of the Lady Raiders. Shaw struck out 12 batters and gave up 4 hits over 10 innings while Dauberman retired 5 gave up 6 hits  in the loss. The Lady Eagles were first on the board which took until the 3rd inning. Taylor Parson started the inning with a double.  Lilly Glunt got the RBI with a single and a little help of a past ball that put Parson on 3rd and into easy scoring position. The Lady Raiders didn't fold up though. The came right out and matched them when lead off hitter Danielle Gamola lead off with a single and then scored on a single from Brittany Smith. Both teams remained deadlocked until the 10 inning. With this years rule change both teams started their inning with the previous batter who was last for their team starting the inning on second base. The Lady Eagles played the more conservative route and advanced the runner with a bunt and was able to score and take the lead 2 to 1. The Lady Raiders swung away and wound up advancing the runner but also hit into a double play and wound up stranding their tying run on third when  Stahly popped out to right for the third out. Eagles win in ten innings 2 to 1
