The Bearcats started the scoring in the top of the first. Donelson walked and then scored off a double from Stewart, the Bearcats first baseman. Colton, the Bearcats pitcher closed out the first with 2 strikeouts and a fielders choice with A.J. Robinson's grounder to the shortstop.The Eagles held the Bearcats in the second and pulled into the lead scoring 3 runs in the bottom of the inning. Derek Noll started the scoring with a solo home run. Colton walked the next 2 batters, Tyler Womer and Miles Etters, who would later score on a 2 run double from Evan Gettig. The lead didn't last long. The Bearcats tied it back up in the top of the 3rd inning with Donelson and Stewart scoring. In the bottom of the 3rd Colton struck out the side and increase his total to 5 on the night. The Bearcats would add another run in the 4th and again held the Eagles in the bottom of the inning.The Bearcats took a big lead with a 5 run 5th inning on 5 hits.Not to be outdone the Eagle got back 3 runs on on a big 3 run homer from Woomer. The Bearcats kept coming though and added 2 more runs in the 6th.The Eagle went into the bottom of the seventh down 7 to 11. The Eagle would mount a rally but fall 1 run short of tying the game.
