The Bald Eagle Lady Eagles win a big one at home over rival Bellefonte. The Lady Red Raiders took the early lead when Brittany Smith scored on a hit to right field by Christina Stathes in the top of the 4th.That would be all the scoring for the Lady Raiders though as the Lady Eagles clamped down the defense. The Lady Eagles came out fighting in the bottom of the 4th scoring 6 runs on 6 hits. The Lady Eagles nearly match their output again in the 5th inning. Scoring 5 runs on 7 hits put the Lady Eagles up 11 to 1 and ended the game on the mercy rule.

Bald Eagle vs Central Mountain (SB)4/8/10

The BEA Lady Eagles shut out the Central Mountain Wildcats at home. Jasa Mitchell scored Taylor Parson then Coutney Switzer brought Lily Glunt in with a sacrifice fly to left to put the Eagles up 2-0 in the bottom of the first. Brittany Lewis hit a sacrifice to score Switzer in the 4th. Lewis added another RBI in the 6th with a single up the middle to score Switzer which put the Eagles up 4-0 over the Wildcats. Rachel Weaver closed out the Wildcats with her 4th stikeout and earned the shutout win.
