Soccer vs Penns Valley 2008

Bald Eagle started the night with a JV 2-1 win over the Rams of Penns Valley. The Rams out shot the Eagles 12 to 3 in the first half and 11 to 7 in the second. The Ram''s Stefan Kelly scored at the 34:50 mark in the first half. The Rams controlled the ball well and kept the Eagles on their heels for a good part of the first half and the later part of the second. The Rams rang one off the post late in the second half and the Eagles had a goal turned away by an alert Ram defender who helped his goalie and made a game saving play on the well shot ball. The Rams came away with the 1-0 win of the Eagles.

Penns Valley @ Bald Eagle The Rams of Penns Valley visited Bald Eagles on 10/2. It was a defensive battle the first half with each team gettign close shots but none found the net. The scoring opened up in the second half with Rams striking first.Sophomore Anthony Glossner scored at the 27:12 mark in the second half. The Eagles were able to tie it back up after they received a direct kick. The kick in played right to Trevor Eisenhuth who used his head to put it into the net. With 15:35 left in the game the Rams retook the lead. The goal again coming from Anthony Glossner. The sophomore "Stepped up Big" for his team. BEA vs Indian Valley The Eagles played a hard fought battle against Warriors of Indian Valley. The Warriors attacked the ball all game long and kept the Eagles on their heels. The Warriors scored early and often on the Eagles with scores coming from Michael Parker, Zach Peachy and Brett Hertzler. The Eagles only goal came with 16:43 left in the first half off the foot of #10 Ethan Corle. The Eagles will look to rebound against Belleville Mennonite next Tuesday. Bald Eagle vs Tyrone The Bald Eagle''s played a tough match against Tyrone. Both teams played hard and sometimes a little too aggressively. Bald eagle earned a red card in the first half and Tyrone received 2 yellow cards later in the match. All the scoring took place in the first half with Bald Eagle area coming away with the win 2 to 1.
