The Penns Valley Lady Rams travel to Bald Eagle Area and come away with a big upset win. The Rams' Morgan Holsopple kept the Eagle's bats cool all game long. Holsopple struck out 8 and gave up just 1 hit against an Eagle team that had 35 run in their first 4 games. The Rams got on the board in the top of the 6th when Clarrisa Keller scored Krista Rupert with a missed fly ball by Eagle second baseman #9 Taylor Parson on Keller's pop fly to shallow right field. The Rams added to more runs in the top of the 7th but they didn't need the cushion. Holsopple closed out the game with 2 pop-fly foul balls caught for the first 2 outs and the 3rd out came on a hit to Holsopple for a easy play to first to end the game. Final: Bald Eagle 0 Penns Valley 3
